Don’t let not having a bike stop you, go out and get one. Getting a new bike doesn’t have to be expensive, you can find some cool bicycles for affordable prices online.

Walk don’t drive

During the warmer summer months, aim to use your car as little as possible. Instead, whenever you are going anywhere within a mile or two, use your feet and walk.

Sure, it might take a little longer to get there, but walking instead of driving will help you to stay in shape. Plus, it won’t require as much time as regularly visiting the gym, so will save you time in the long run.

Top tip: If you plan on walking regularly, make sure to invest in a good pair of walking boots. Otherwise, you could end up injuring your feet or ankles.

Go swimming

One of the best ways to exercise is by going swimming. Swimming pools open as early as five in the morning and stay open until as late as 11pm, so you can go before or after work.

It can be a struggle to fit exercise into your schedule, but swimming is perfect as most pools open early and stay open until late at night. In the summer months, you also have the option of swimming in the sea and lakes, which are not only free, but are open at all times. So if you get a spare half an hour, all you need to do is grab your swimwear, dive in, and that’s your exercise sorted.

Exercise at home

If for you struggle to get out of the house, then exercising at home is the perfect solution. There are so many ways you can exercise at home, from using your stairs for step-ups to practicing yoga in the garden.
